Like nature, our lives move through different seasons. Sometimes it is a time for new beginnings and action, sometimes for growth and creativity, and at other times for slowing down, letting go and turning inward.

Each season has its own purpose and its own wisdom. What matters is recognising where we are right now and what life is inviting us towards.

The following ten questions invite a short autumn reflection. For each one, choose the answer that feels closest to where you are right now. There are no right or wrong answers.

🟢 B – occasionally

🔵 C – regularly

How well do I know my limits?

🟡 A – I often push past them

🟢 B – I am getting better at recognising them

What Do Your Answers Tell You?

See which answer you chose most often. Your answers invite you to notice where you are right now and what you may need.

🟡 Mostly A — A Time to Pause

You may be in a period when much of your energy is directed outward — toward responsibilities, work, relationships or expectations. Change and endings may not always come easily, and rest often comes only when you truly need it.

Autumn invites you to slow down a little.

What is there too much of in your life?

What can you put aside?

Where do you need more space for yourself?

A small challenge for this week: each evening, write down one thing you would slowly like to let go of.

🟢 Mostly B — A Time of Transition

You may be in a period when you already recognise the need for change, but need time for it. You are becoming more aware of your needs and limits and are looking for a balance between activity and rest.

Autumn invites you to trust the process and your own rhythm.

What is changing in your life right now?

Where do you need more time?

What can you allow to ripen at its own pace?

A small challenge for this week: give yourself 15 minutes each day without your phone - just for yourself or for a walk in nature.

🔵 Mostly C — A Time of Inner Maturity

You may be in a period when you find it easier to accept change, recognise your needs and live more in tune with your inner rhythm. You may increasingly experience endings as a natural part of life’s cycle and as space for something new.

Autumn invites you to turn towards what has ripened within you.

What has life shown you recently?

What can you be grateful for today?

What would you like to carry with you into the next season of your life?

A small challenge for this week: write down three things you are grateful for and one insight the past year has brought you.
